On the recommendation of the Education and Accreditation Committee (the EAC), the Medical Council (the Council) on 2 May 2012 decided to revise the above guidelines and application form to make it clear that an applicant could submit an application only after he had obtained the relevant qualification. Applicants should now follow the revised guidelines and use the revised application form above.
Applicants are reminded that the fulfillment of the revised guidelines will be the minimum requirement for consideration for inclusion in the List of Quotable Qualifications and the Council and the EAC will also take into consideration other relevant factors arising in the particular circumstances of each case.
