Complaints Against Doctors

Will the doctor be informed as soon as you make a complaint?

The doctor will not be informed about the complaint until the decision is made as to whether your complaint should be taken forward. If a decision is made to dismiss your complaint, we will, unless receipt of your prior objection, present the doctor your complaint for his information. If a decision is made to take the matter forward, we also need to inform the doctor of the complaint so as to proceed with the investigation. If you do not permit us to disclose your complaint to the doctor, we will probably have difficulty to process your complaint any further.
