Complaints Against Doctors

What happens if the Medical Council decides to take action?

If the Chairman or the Deputy Chairman of the Preliminary Investigation Committee decides that we should take your complaint further, we may first ask you to make a statutory declaration to support your complaint. We may also need medical records or written statements from other people with personal knowledge of the events which led you to complain, though these may not need to be sworn statements.

Our Secretariat and the regional offices of Department of Health will provide the service of administering statutory declaration free of charge. You may contact us for the current addresses of these offices.
