Legal costs

The Medical Council has its own solicitors to help with the legal side of things. You are not required to pay any costs if the case is presented by the Secretary of the Medical Council. You can however choose to instruct your own lawyer, or to present your case personally. If you do this, you will pay your own legal expenses.
