Nomenclatures of Procedures and Operations Promulgated by Colleges of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine

According to the "Guidelines on Service Information Notices" ("the Guidelines") at Appendix C of the Code of Professional Conduct, a doctor may display a Service Information Notice bearing the fee schedules and the medical services provided by him at the exterior of his office. The Guidelines provide, inter alia, that the nomenclatures of procedures and operations on the Notice should follow those promulgated by Colleges of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, whenever such a list is available.
